Display windows and heating

When using displays, questions of their mechanical protection, operation at low temperatures or EMI shielding are not uncommon. We offer a wide range of products designed to meet these objectives.

Display protective heating windows, EMI filters

Display windows provide mechanical protection, heating, improved optical properties (due to the anti-reflective coating), EMI-shielding. Combination of several (or all) the functions in one product is possible.

Transparent LCD heating elements

Transparent heating elements (TRH) are designed to heat instrument windows and LCD screens when working at low temperatures. TRH allow to expand the range of operational temperatures of conventional LCD displays to minus 60°C. TRH are optically clear glass plates with a transparent conductive layer (ITO) applied on one side.

* Typical values. The customer should indicate the required voltage and power, the resistance is calculated by a formula (TRH behaves like resistor). The values can be adjusted to technological possibilities. The standard power of a TRH is 10 Wt/dm2.

Thermostat for HE and TRH

This thermostat is used to control power supply of heating elements, in order to prevent overheating of devices.

When the temperature measured by a remote temperature sensor overcomes a threshold value, the power of the heating element turns off.
